“Excuse you I am a very dainty and neat eater,” May protested. It would have been more believable if May hadn’t seen her eat and knew that May was neither of those things when she ate. She wasn’t quite Cookie Monster levels but she wasn’t a Victorian lady either.
“This smells so good,” she said, her stomach rumbling as she piled up a plate full of food. “I’m going to absolutely devour all of this.”
